MOSAIC WORKSHOP in ST PAUL DE VENCE

Why not treat yourself to a wonderfully calm and relaxing week in St Paul de Vence. This world renown medieval town with its wonderful light and its quality of life has enchanted many a famous artist Yves Montand, Jacque Prévert, Picasso and so many others.

Along with Christine an artist specialised in mosaic work we have put together a package where you will learn the basics of the art of mosaic and at the same time be able to discover a few of the numerous cultural attractions of the region.

Whatever your tastes or mood of the moment Wendy’s house « Le Mas des Amandiers » where you will be staying is a perfect place to relax and give yourself a well deserved break before the winter.

The Mosaic Workshop

Monday to Friday inclusive from 9h30 until 12h30, you will be invited to discover the secrets of the art of mosaic with a variety of different materials :faience, porcelaine, stoneware, enamel from Briare.
You will learn how to use different tools as well as how to do the joints.

By the end of the week you will have been able to make at least 2 or 3 objects from the models presented.

The cost of the mosaic workshop, all materials included is 200 euros per person.
We will organise the wrapping of you masterpieces in plastic bubble wrap so that they will not suffer during the trip home.

The workshop can only take place if there are at least 5 people enrolled before the 15 September, the maximum amount of participants will be 10.

Cultural Visits

In the afternoon after having had lunch together Wendy will help you discover some unforgetable places nearby

Accommodation

You will be housed at the bed and breakfast « Mas des Amandiers » from Sunday 19th October in the evening until Saturday 25th October in the morning.
The cost for 6 nights, with 6 breakfasts and 5 lunches will be
     450 euros in an individual room
     280 euros per person in a shared room
These prices only apply for the people enrolled in the mosaic workshop or those people wishing to accompany someone who is enrolled.

The entry fees for gardens and the museums are extra.
Having your own transport is a necessity.
